Next to the Oyats in Capbreton, the Tuc circuit of the nine churches offers you for example a pleasant loop of a little more than 9 km for 2h30 of walking, to discover the banks of the Boudigau and the dune environment. On the Mimizan side, hikes of 3h00 or 3h30 also await you: the circuit of the lake and the forest in the grounds, and the circuit of the Mailloueyre side beach. Many circuits await lovers of beautiful walks around Seignosse: on the edge of the beach or around the ponds, each circuit makes you discover varied landscapes. That of the rose of the sands, ideal for a walk of one hour in family, makes you cross the first cordon of forest behind the dunes. Hiking holidays Gironde
Cap Ferret and the Arcachon basin offer preserved environments that are pleasant to walk on foot to discover the different biotopes and the hidden heritage. During your stay in the Gironde campsite Les Embruns, many hiking trails are to discover, from the long hike for experienced walkers to the rejuvenating family outing. Along the Cap-Ferret, the primer of the dunes is for example a landscape interpretation trail that runs from north to south over a little over 9 km. It has a view of the Pilat dune. In the immediate vicinity of the campsite Les Embruns, the Pres Salés d’Arès-Lège Reserve is also an ideal site for walks and hikes: lasting only 40 minutes, this course on the coastal path is especially an exciting stroll observation to do, why not, family. A little longer, the circuit of the canal of the ponds borrows a section of the road to Compostela. Plan a walk of about two hours without any particular difficulties. Facing Île aux Oiseaux, the Réservoirs de Piraillan also offer several circuits to discover this set of salt water and woodland islets.
Hiking holidays Pyrénées-Orientales
During your stay in Torreilles at the Marisol campsite, do not miss to discover the variety of landscapes of the Catalan country through walks: between the Corbières and Albères mountains, the coastal path and the banks of the ponds, the most beautiful hikes await you in the Pyrénées-Orientales. Around Torreilles, you can for example make the circuit of the cliffs of Leucate which proposes you to take height. From a distance of a little over 8 km on easy terrain, the hike will last about 2:30 and can be undertaken with children used to walking. Also in Leucate, the shepherd’s trail is one of the heritage circuits of the Regional Natural Park of Narbonnaise in the Mediterranean. From a distance of 7 km, the thematic path offers you to cross a landscape of vineyards. Another heritage circuit, the fisherman’s trail takes you to the foot of Leucate Castle and on the banks of the pond. From Barcarès, you can finally start a pleasant 2-hour hike in the Natural Park Dosses. Parking is provided at the start of the hike.
