Rue du Marché in Piraillan, the market takes place all week from late June to early September, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meet 60 exhibitors who offer local artisanal products, but also clothes, flowers, plants … Taste one or two oysters then find a nice light and comfortable outfit for your next hike or your forays to the beach or buy pretty roses that you will dry to keep a souvenir of your vacation.
Claouey market
From June 15 to September 15, the Claouey covered market opens its stands on avenue des Halles, every day from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. In the heart of the village, around 50 traders are waiting for you to introduce you to local crafts and products from the South West. Fill your shopping bag or basket and stop off to taste a small piece of foie gras accompanied by a glass of local white wine in front of a stall, in the company of traders and regulars.
Lège market
The Lège market is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Town Hall Square, under the covered market, near the village church. About ten exhibitors are there to offer you regional products to awaken your taste buds. This market may be the smallest of the four in Cap Ferret, but it is nonetheless essential for stocking up before an excursion on the peninsula that will put your stomach in the back of your mind after exploring the region.
