Seignosse Surf School

This surf school is open every day from Easter to All Saints’ Day and is located on the central beach of Seignosse (Le Penon). It offers introductory and advanced courses to all surfers, from 6 years old. Each session lasts 2 hours. The group lesson costs € 33 (€ 94 for 3 sessions, € 149 for 5 sessions). You can opt for private lessons (65 € per 1h30 session) or a child session (6-8 years old, 20 € per hour).

Authentic Surf

Group or individual lessons, 5-day courses, one-week surfcamp: Surf Authentique has set up various packages for all surfers. It holds the Handi Surf label which rewards schools that offer courses adapted to people with disabilities. The sessions last 2 hours (1h30 in the ocean) and take place on Casernes beach every day, from June to September. Prices: 35 € per session, 100 € for 3 sessions, 148 € for 5 sessions, 250 € for 10 sessions.

Aloha

This structure located on the Bourdaines beach in Seignosse offers surfing, bodyboarding and swimming lessons. It is one of the first French schools to have won the “Qualité Tourisme” label. Prices: 35 € per session in group lessons (1h30), 75 € per individual lesson (1 hour), 70 € for the weekend formula (2 sessions + 2-day equipment rental).

Lost Surf School

Holidaymakers can learn to surf from the age of 5 on Penon beach with Lost Surf School, in private or group lessons (8 people maximum). Among the most popular options, stand out the discovery session (€ 33), the weekend course (€ 62), the week course with 3 or 4 sessions (€ 95 or € 128), private lessons (80 € per session) and courses for children aged 5 to 7 (5 sessions, € 130).

Surf Trip

This surf school, founded in 1996, welcomes you on the South Beach of Hossegor, from April to October, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in July-August). Group lessons last 2 hours and are accessible to over 8s (8 people per group maximum, € 39 per session, € 115 for 3 sessions). The price of individual lessons varies from € 50 (3 people) to € 90 (1 person).
